Personal Training and Rehabilitation
As far as personal training and hiring a trainer I was pretty skeptical. All I had ever seen were trainers that made
their clients lift weights, heavy weights to bulk up, or simply stick them on a treadmill for 45 minutes while they chatted to them. There was little to no variations to the routines I witnessed. I have a lot of injuries and I was looking for a trainer that would take the time to clearly understand me, my goals and most importantly my injuries.
Kari took the time to fully understand what I was looking for and what I needed. She designed a program that helped me with weight loss and strengthened my body. She was dedicated to my success and was always fully aware of my movements ensuring no further injuries were made nor aggravate the ones I was already living with. She did all this around my extremely busy travelling schedule. I can honestly say Kari has changed my life for the better. I am lucky to have found a dedicated professional who loves her job and knows it inside and out!
I have known Kari for a couple of years now and have had the pleasure of being a client of hers for most of that time. The best word to describe Kari is passionate. Her passion for her clients to achieve their goals both in the sessions and the 1 on 1 support outside of them makes her one of the best. She helps you set your personal fitness goals and then tailor makes your sessions and accountability controls to ensure you meet them. I have no reservations referring Kari to my friends, family, and clients.
Kari exudes passion for a healthy and active lifestyle and instills this passion in her clients. I have been training with Kari for the past 3 years; because she is so dedicated towards and cares for her clients, she has been the driving force behind my weight loss (nearly 80 pounds!), physical transformation and new-found passion for everything fitness and running-related! Her knowledge (about fitness and nutrition), encouragement and commitment to my training program ensures I have the best tools possible to meet my fitness goals. Kari helps her clients to set these goals and creates a training regime specific to each client so they can attain them. Under Kari's training regime, I completed many running events (5km, 10km and half-marathons), Tough Mudder and hiked the Grouse Grind; all things I feared doing because I thought I wasn't fit enough, until I started training with Kari! I feel very fortunate to have met Kari; a personal trainer who genuinely cares about her clients and wants the best for them. Thanks Kari!
